Emily Walker has been attending births as an assistant with intermittent breaks for the births of her own sweet babies since the winter of 2016. In July of 2022 the timing was right for her to enroll in the Midwife to Be Midwifery School and start an internship at Organic Home Birth with Tiffany Miller CPM, as her primary preceptor. She finished her training in the fall of 2025 and received her CPM credential and license to practice midwifery in Colorado in December of 2025. Emily beautifully balances her love of practical knowledge and data driven care with deep compassion and desire to see her clients thrive throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
As a midwife, assisting and caring for mamas and babies is a joy and a privilege. Her life was changed by the care and support she received from her own midwives and hopes to one day be an excellent and caring midwife who proudly carries the art and skill of midwifery into future generations.
Emily is a homeschooling mama and loves reading aloud with her family. She also enjoys playing practical jokes with her identical twin sister.
